A few words about me

Being a math guy, my username is Jelte2357, based off of my first name and the first 4 primes. Though, math is not the only thing I like. I've been developing python code for the past 5 years now, repairing cassette decks as a hobby, and often travel around the country with a good friend of mine. I strive to learn more about programming, which is one of the reasons I completed CS50x. To try out my newly acquired knowledge, I built a website for my exam stunt, an annual tradition in the Netherlands. This tested my ability to operate under stress, since the website had some issues opon release that I had not seen coming. I managed to fix them in time, and the website was a success.

My education and job experience

My education:

• I'm currently studying Cognitive Science & Artificial Intelligence at Tilburg University. (august 2024 - present)
• I've studied VWO-NT at RSG 't Rijks (august 2018 - june 2024)
• I've completed the CS50x course from Harvard University. (Certificate recieved in september of 2023)

My job experiences:

• I've been a retail stock worker at Albert Heijn Hoogerheide from march 2023 - present.
• For volunteering I have helped from Oct 2022 until February 2023 at a primary school for the First Lego League.
• With this volunteering I have also helped at regional (non-official) tournaments for the past 5 years.
